MN College Hockey Scoreboard Show For Games from November 25-30 2025
We didn’t have a super full plate of games across the Division I slate, but we had a pretty decent Thanksgiving week of games overall in the State of Hockey, complete with postponements and snowy travel. It’s time for another edition of Minnesota’s College Hockey Scoreboard Show where as always, it’s not about the analysis, it’s not about the breakdowns, it’s JUST. THE. SCORES.
AND MAYBE A DAD JOKE OR THREE.
Division I Men
Minnesota State vs. Northern Michigan
Fri: #14 Minnesota State 4, Northern Michigan 0 Sat: #14 Minnesota State 3, Northern Michigan 2 No. 14 Minnesota State kept Northern Michigan winless with a weekend sweep in Marquette. In Game One, Liam Watkins scored twice as the Mavericks prevailed 4-0. Alex Tracy stopped 35 shots for his second shutout of the season. In the series finale, three different players scored and Tristan Lemyre scored his eighth of the year to lift the considerably underranked Mavericks to 10-2-4 on the season. The Mavericks host Ferris State in CCHA action this weekend in Mankato. They’ve won six in a row and haven’t lost in regulation since the season opener against Omaha.
North Dakota vs. Bemidji State
Fri: #6 North Dakota 5, Bemidji State 3 Sat: #6 North Dakota 2, Bemidji State 1, OT Five different players scored as sixth-ranked North Dakota took the first game of its home-and-home series with Bemidji State 5-3. The Fighting Hawks needed overtime to claim Game Two at the Ralph as Ben Strinden scored his ninth of the years, as did Will Zellers, who scored the OT game-winner. Bemidji State will host Augustana as the teams return to conference action this weekend.
St. Thomas vs. Michigan Tech
Fri: St. Thomas 3, Michigan Tech 3 (UST wins SO) Sat: St. Thomas 2, Michigan Tech 1 St. Thomas picked up five out of six points on the weekend, tying Michigan Tech in Houghton in Game One and picking up the extra point with the shootout win. Lucas Van Vliet scored twice in Game One, while Game Two also went the Tommies way with a 2-1 win with Van Vliet scoring the eventual game-winner midway through the second. St. Thomas hosts Lake Superior State at “The Penny” this weekend. Sorry Lee, that’s what they’re calling it - not my rules.
Minnesota vs. Denver (Hall of Fame Game)
Sat: Minnesota 6, #4 Denver 5, OT Despite getting outshot 52-25 and only putting up one shot in overtime, that’s what Minnesota needed to pick off fourth-ranked Denver 6-5 in overtime at Ball Arena in Denver for the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game. Javon Moore found the goal with 35 seconds left in overtime. Six different players scored. The Gophers are sitting 7-9-1 and will head to Columbus to take on Ohio State.
Division I Women
Bemidji State vs. Lindenwood
Fri: Lindenwood 7, Bemidji State 4 Sat: Lindenwood 2, Bemidji State 2 (LU wins SO) It was tough sledding for Bemidji State this weekend and that’s not a pun about the weekend snowstorm through the midwest. Lindenwood took out the Beavers in suburban St. Louis, picking up a 7-4 win on Friday. The teams skated to a 2-2 tie on Saturday with the host Lions taking the shootout, which is essentially meaningless in non-conference action. Bemidji State will host Minnesota-Duluth this weekend.
St. Cloud State at D1 in DC (Colgate / Clarkson)
Fri: #14 St. Cloud State 3, #12 Colgate 2, OT Sat: #10 Clarkson 2, #14 St. Cloud State 0 No. 14 St. Cloud State played a pair of ECAC regulars in the somewhat annual D1 in DC event in Northern Virginia. Game One saw Sofianna Sundelin score a hat trick, which included the overtime game-winner as the Huskies upended No. 12 Colgate 3-2. The second game saw no offense as Clarkson shut down the Huskies and the No. 10 Golden Knights took a 2-0 win. St. Cloud State will hit the road to take on No. 12 Minnesota State this weekend.
Minnesota State vs. Dartmouth
Fri: #15 Minnesota State 5, Dartmouth 2 Sat: #15 Minnesota State 5, Dartmouth 0 No. 15 Minnesota State stayed hot, winning their fourth in a row in a weekend sweep over Dartmouth. Five different players scored in Friday’s 5-2 win over the Big Green and the same thing happened again on Saturday as five different players scored in a 5-0 shutout. Lauren Goldsworthy, Mercury Bischoff and Ayla Puppe scored in both games. Bischoff now has 10 goals on the season. The Mavericks will host St. Cloud State this weekend.
